This week the nation celebrated Women’s Equality Day, and Acadia Healthcare is proud to be a company that values having women in prominent leadership roles.
More than 50% of the facilities within Acadia Healthcare’s extensive treatment network are managed and operated by female leadership, including those in the role of chief executive officer. Their experience, skill set, and dedication allow Acadia to remain a leader in the provision of behavioral healthcare.
Acadia is also proud to be a network that is led by a female chief executive officer. Debbie Osteen has been a dedicated leader for Acadia since 2018. Throughout her time with the company, she has guided its strategic vision and executed a growth plan that has resulted in numerous facility acquisitions, joint ventures, and facility expansions. Under Ms. Osteen’s leadership, Acadia has thrived as the largest stand-alone behavioral healthcare company in the United States.
Ms. Osteen has received many distinct honors, including being recognized in Modern Healthcare’s list of the top 25 women in healthcare four times, being named one of the top executives in healthcare by Modern Healthcare twice, being recognized by the Nashville Post’s In Charge – Health Care three times, and being honored as the top healthcare executive by Nashville Business Journal in 2020.
Equality for women is something to be celebrated, and we ask that you join us in recognizing all the women who are making a difference.
