About Youth Care Treatment Center
Just south of Salt Lake City in Draper, Youth Care Treatment Center is Utah's leading provider of life-changing residential and outpatient treatment for adolescents and teens of all genders who are struggling with mental health and substance use disorders. A licensed dual diagnosis facility, Youth Care Treatment Center helps young people who are suffering from mental health concerns such as bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, and posttraumatic stress disorder, along with addiction to alcohol, opioids, and other substances. Through a variety of evidence-based practices and techniques, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-focused therapy such as sand tray, biofeedback, and EMDR, we help young people find a better path forward.

Youth Care Treatment Center focuses on providing clinically excellent treatment in an environment that is conducive to long-term healing. Our multidisciplinary staff goes above and beyond typical treatment modalities and also offers situational therapy, exposure therapy, and expressive therapy as a way to draw out the strengths of the adolescents and teens we care for. We also offer an academic program that is accredited through the Northwest Association of Schools and Colleges that allows students to keep up academically while preparing them to be successful in future learning.
