Our programming also includes a vibrant educational support system and a specialized treatment track for young people who are deaf or hard of hearing. Typical length of stay at Little Creek Behavioral Health is six to 12 months, with opportunities to extend a young person's stay to 18 months or longer depending on need and progress.
What Makes Little Creek Behavioral Health Different?
Two of the factors that make Little Creek Behavioral Health a unique resource are our educational services and our specialized treatment track for children and adolescents who are deaf or have partial hearing loss. At our facility, special education teachers and in-class therapeutic support staff help young people complete a developmentally appropriate curriculum. Young people who are deaf or hard of hearing work with specially trained professionals and benefit from all necessary adaptations so that they can fully engage in therapy and educational programming.
