Located along the central California coastline mere minutes from the boardwalk, Connections – Santa Cruz treats adults of all genders who are struggling with a primary mental health disorder diagnosis. We also provide care for adults who have a secondary addiction diagnosis, known as a co-occurring substance use disorder. Levels of care at our Santa Cruz outpatient center include partial hospitalization programming (PHP) and intensive outpatient programming (IOP). Our multidisciplinary team of experts customizes each patient's treatment plan based on their specific needs. We use different therapies to support our patients, including individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, and experiential therapies such as art therapy, music therapy, and guided imagery. Outpatient services for a mental health condition and co-occurring addiction at Connections – Santa Cruz may also integrate elements of dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Seeking Safety, and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR).
