Inpatient
Inpatient treatment within the Acadia Healthcare network is an intensive, short-term experience for adolescents and adults who have been experiencing acute psychiatric symptoms. Inpatient care features round-the-clock support to help you achieve stabilization so that you can return home or transition to a lower level of care. Typical length of stay at the inpatient level is five to seven days.

Residential treatment for addiction and co-occurring mental health concerns allows adolescents and adults to step away from the pressures and distractions of daily life and focus on their health. Residential programs within the Acadia network feature personalized care and 24/7 support. Depending on your needs, length of stay at the residential level can range from a few weeks to several months.

Facilities within the Acadia network offer multiple outpatient options, including partial hospitalization programs (PHPs), intensive outpatient programs (IOPs), and traditional outpatient services, for adolescents and adults who have been experiencing addiction concerns and mental health challenges. Features of outpatient care include structured clinical services, flexibility, and increased independence.
Medication-Assisted Treatment
Medication-assisted treatment, or MAT, is a specialized form of outpatient care for adults who have been struggling with opioid addiction. MAT features the use of certain prescription medications that allow you to stop using opioids without experiencing withdrawal symptoms, as well as therapy to help you make the lifestyle changes that will promote long-term recovery.
